I just purchased a used 5 string Corvette SE Rockbass. For the money you absolutely can not beat this product. 3 piece maple neck, light weight alder body, flamed maple cap, MEC pickups and electronics, a Fender style bridge. This bass can definitely stand up to any American Fender or Gibson bass.

Kudos to Warwick for making a quality bass that the working man can afford.

I'm with you on that one 2tone. I've always maintained that I wouldn't swap my corvette Rockbass for the US fender P-bass I used to own (and it was twice the price)

My Rockbass has a flamed maple veneer and a tobacco sunburst - and it looks the dog's bits!

My corvette $$ is now my bass of choice - I still keep picking up the rockbass to play and I'm keeping it as my number 2 - worth thinking about if you just want something different for occasional use.. like a 5 string if you usually use 4, or fretted/fretless

Ive just bought a Corvette basic 5 and have to say, having owned loadsa basses in my time its refreshing to find such an affordable, versatile instrument.Im having a cool time just sitting here looking at it.Am I sad or what?! Well done Warwick youve made an old man very happy! :D

Hi...Gary here with A Rockbass 5 string. Gear is a 2500 hartke head and a 4x10 hartke cab with a string with a vx 115..excellent rig

What model did you get? I bet it sounds real zingy with the Hartke!...Enjoy!! :D
