Rockbass anyone???

The first pic posted, not the rack in the foreground, but the one runnig perpendicular... what's the second bass from the left!? Do I see Wenge???

And let me know how the "RustyBuck" project goes, sounds tempting. ;) (I think I'm going to snag the classic Streamer with the humbuckers. )

There are great. Set up 14 of them today, ready for the shops. I really cant decide between the streamer or the corvette double buck passive.. I like the shape of the streamer, but the sound of the $$.

Maybe if Route out the streamer & swap the pick ups ...................

Hey Ive just invented a new signature Rockbass!!

The Rustynuts signature $$ streamer! Availible in rusty red only.......

The new neck profiles are super sweet and they look great also.

Best Bang for your buck out there!

Could you please give me a litte review of the Rockbass $$ 5-string? I`ve been tinkering for a few months now, and I`m really after a Warwick-sound, but with the passive, "Fender-ish" jazz-tone. It really looks like a killer for the money.

Hey guys, sorry ive been away for a while, The $$ 5-string is a great bass for the price & you can still split the coils of the pickups, you just pull the volume knobs to change it. They have a varaiety of sounds avail from a nice bright funk tone down to the F##der jazz tones, remember that these basses are passive. Crank the bridge pick up & roll the neck off just a tad & there's your warwick growl.

The neck profiles are thinner than most wicks, if you have played an older warwick, they are about the same profile as those. Bang for buck they are great. Whack in a MEC preamp and you have a weapon!!

i could only check out a badly set up fiver at guitar center,i have to say they feel much better then every one elses lower end bass's.g&ls and sterlings don't feel like a real one i could feel wich i had with my eyes closed but the rock bass felt the same it was a older four stringer though, but the newer five felt good to and i liked the neck shape.just wish gc would get in something other then ebmm and fender's.even they are set up bad,i know every one and there third cousin come in and play them the pboblem with a walmart type music store.

My biggest problem, is that I have a limited budget, and from yesterday all Rockbasses in Norway cost 150-200€ more. I don`t if retailers have the possibilites to make "friend"-prices on these, but I hope so.
