I wanted my 1.000th post and first one as a senior member to be a nice one. Sound clips from my new music room or the Buzzard hanging on the wall... But one of my heroes died: Kinks bass player Peter Quaife.
He maybe wasn't an outstanding bassist, but I love sixties melodic bass playing of guys of Entwistle, Peter Quaife, Ronnie Lane of the (Small Faces), the guy of the Animals (listen to the bass line of We've Got To Get Out Of This Place). This kind of bass playing seemed to be disappeared?

I was searching for the guy to do an interview, but he wasn't to be found. Now it's too late.
