Reverbnation - any use?

Main question: is Reverbnation of any use? What are your experiences?

The main function for me is to feed the Facebook-website of our band with content. (see here: www.facebook.com/theSiKs)

But has anyone ever found a gig via Reverbnation? Or gained some other advantage?

Bandcamp seems to be the place to be. For advertising gigs there's Facebook anyway.
In the replies there's a negative vibe going on about Reverbnation and its annual fees.

Yeah, Reverbnation seems to be mostly good for filling up my inbox with spam. Bandcamp + Facebook is where I'm at.

But am I right: anybody can stream the whole songs for free, only downloading and buying the CD is liable for costs?

You can limit how many times someone can stream a "paid track" before buying it.

Check in "profile" menu, the last item.
