Hmmmmm... Reverb. Very interesting topic. Pedal-wise it gets kind of complicated for me, but for fretless I find them to be quite useful to give your bass character. I have a ToneWorks by Korg AX3000B that has a stereo reverb that I find to be quite useful for live applications. I have never a dedicated reverb pedal to this point. Hopefully some of the other guys around here have other options to offer you so can hear the pros and cons of every brand and every pedal and see what you like.

hey kakeorama,
back when i was in to tapping and playing a lot of melodic pieces on my bass i used an alesis midiverb II rack mount reverb which had 99 different forms of reverb and chorus, some weak, some superb, the hall verbs were especially good, best thing is i picked it up on ebay for about 25 quid!
i also have an electro harmonix holy grail pedal, and as the name says it is the holy grails of reverbs, it just does what you want, i havent really used this on my bass, but i rarely play my guitars without it, it just adds a subtle warmth and evens everything out,
your best bet is just to take your bass to your local guitar shop and try everything they have to offer!

So, when playing fretless do you leave your reverb and/or chorus on all the time?

Regardless of the effect your after EBS make excellent effects pedals,I'm upgrading the few effects I use to all EBS,like my uncle mats" :wink: Coincidently the aussie warwick distributor is also an EBS distributor.
