recessed strap l*c*s

I have a 96 Thumb NT5. It came with recessed strap locks. (i'm aware Warwick calls them something different but don't know the name.) I took the bass apart to refinish and lost the whole recessed strap lock assembly. Is it possible for me to get the old recessed style straps?? or does Warwick make a retrofit kit with normal exterior strap pegs? of course i could put something aftermarket on it, but i don't want a big hole underneath it.

OR is it possible to get bubinga plugs to glue in and sand down?

i dont think warwick makes their own recessed straplocks, they use the dunlop ones when recessed straplocks are requested by a customer...

i might be wrong though
 
Uhhh,

what's with the "l*c*s" ?? I enjoy guessing the dirty word, and complimenting myself...................but I can't find it this time !! (surely it's not "locks"............or "licks"..............cuz..............that ain't worth censoring....... :lol: )
 
We have a very strong relation with Dunlop here at Warwick, they used to make the straplocks we used on our basses for a long time and we still distrbute their whole product line in Europe. If you need the flushmount straplocks feel free to contact your dealer, our distributor or anyone in the world that carries Dunlop products, you should be able to get them in no time.
