really cool waterfall

wow, not bad at all. would be a good idea for stage-show :-)
 
Actually out biggest gig was an outdoor event in Kingston, Ont. Canada, oh prolly back in 1990 or 91. Confederation Basin, right in front of City Hall. It was a huge day long affair with street artists, puppets, you name it, for the Iran earthquake relief fund. In the evening there was a string of live bands. The Phones headlined, and requested us (Ages of You) to be right before them. A move they later said they regretted.

The show ended at 11, each band played 40 minutes. We knew a certain thing about the schedule at Confederation Basin and changed the set list. Right at 10 PM 3 HUGE fountains fire up, with full lighting, in the evening the winds blows out toward the lake. Just as our Guit players starts in to a solo for one of our own tunes the lights, water, everything starts. The light guy had the wherewithall to pull the stage lights way down.

My father, an avid photographer, was in the audience. He never took us seriously and thought it was a joke. He actually enjoyed the show and said we were really good.

He didn't bring a friggin' camera. Oh, they estimated the crowd for the bands at 5000.

wow, i think you´ll never forget such moments...
did you ever have gigs like that again? or was it "just" once?

well, compared to that i can forget my idea of using the "special waterfall from japan" :-)
 
Amazing. It appeared to be spouting Japanese writing characters at first.

I just had an epiphany, boebl! I finally snapped to what 'roflmao' means, having known for quite some time what 'lmao' means. Making some progress here.
