Hello!
I am new to this forum and I hope I post this in the right place.

I own a Rb Vampyre 5 and I have a problem. It has some noises, I guess both “buzz” and a “hiss” (hope these are the correct names).
When I plug in the bass, I have this noise which is proportional to the treble pot, and it disappears when I put my hands on the strings or any metal part of the bass. Also, when I connect the amplifier to a grounded outlet, this noise is gone, but I can do this only at home. On stage I have this noise almost all the time and it’s obvious and annoying! So I guess the problem is that it lacks the shielding or maybe there’s a problem with a wire, right?

But even if I connect the amplifier to a grounded outlet, I still have a hiss that is still kind of proportional to the treble.

Do you have an idea what the problem might be?
Thank you very much.

Hi! And welcome!

Check this thread, here you can find some answers:

Probably shielding is not done properly, the electronics cavity needs to be shielded, and also the electronics cavity cover, and to make contact between them with a little piece of copper.

Thank you, guys! These days I am going to try to fix this and I will come with updates.
