Just saw it last week in my dealer, the RB starter kit.
Well it's another starter kit like the ones you got from squier and other brands, but what got my attention is the bass that comes with it. It's called the Streamer BlackHawk and I must say it was the first RB that really got my attention.
The bass got a really cool black mate finish all black hardware and the really cool thing is that it comes with J/MM pu combo, also the bass sounds really good for it's price.
I'm not interested in the kit itself but will Rockbass launched as one of their models? cause I'd probably go for one of these to make some experiments ehehe

It's really good to see that warwick makes low budget instruments for those who are starting or can't affort a real Wick, but giving good quality instruments for the price not like those crappy squiers we see everywere

Well, it's been out for over a year. And no sign of Warwick going to sell that bass separately..............But who knows.

one year???!!! we're really far behind here in Portugal because this pack only came around a month or two ago :S:S
we're really far behind in a lot of things music is unfortunatly another one :S:S

Well,

maybe it's not out for a year. It was revealed at the same time the Corvette NT was revealed. This was during NAMM in January 2007.

i reckon a shirt would be cooler than a hat. everyone wears shirts, not everyone wears hats 8)
wish i got that package when i started!

I reckon both hat & T-shirt.
If I was after a RB,this is the one I'd get.

+1, now only if it came with a 6 string rockbass, then id be sold!
(i know, RBs dont come in 6 string. well not yet anyway *hopeful*) :D

I'd go for the t-shirt, yes, I feel rather silly in caps. :)

Oh, and I do wish I had my eyes open for this when I first started! But, done is done, I'm in to Warwick now =)

here in Portugal was only seen at the end of January 2008 so it's a year since the pack was launched until it got to here.

And I must agree this RB looks very very good compared to other RB models IMHO. It would be awsome if they sell it like a regular RB model

How's that amp it comes with, anyone know? And I like that stand too, looks very compact and cool.

You could go a long way with the bass in that pack. The Rockbass Streamers are very nice.

The Blue Cab combo amp included with it is a great practice amp - lovely tone. I have one.

The stand isn't that hot. They break very easily, as there's only a small plastic piece that stops it from opening too far which snaps off very easily. If they included a stronger mechanism for stopping the stand from opening too far it'd be great. I had one for about 5 months before it broke (causing my Bubinga Corvette to fall to the ground!) :x After that, I threw it away and bought a quality K&M stand.

Also, I have that cap too - it's cool ;) , and the strap and lead should be fine.

All in all - a great beginner's pack (if you upgrade the stand).

:D
