So i was going to rehearsal yesterday, and awful rain emerged/ unfortunatly my rockbag didn't save the situation, and when i arrived at the place it was kinda wet from the inside. The body(corvette ash) was ok, probably cause i waxed it recently, but neck was a little bit wet, and it felt unnaturally smooth. I've cleaned it by dry cloth and put in rehroom. Sound was fine as usual, but to be sure, should i do some precautions like covering it with something? I'd really appreciate an advice)

Hey man! I've read advice on this somewhere in the forum archives but I can't remember where, try using the search engine in the nav. bar and see what comes up. I guess just giving it a good rub down with a towel and see.

And obviously, look at purchasing a better gig bag!!

The bass will be fine.Just wipe it over.
There's a bass player here that sweats so much during shows that his Thumb shorts out. He's even shorted out his backup Thumb too. He's been using these basses for about a decade now & is still going strong.

Welcome to the forum buddy :-)
Rub the neck well, and wax the back of the neck. Your bass will be fine :-)

I agree with the rubbing and waxing, but give it a good opportunity to air dry on a stand before waxing it.

;)
