Quick Question about a Rockbass STreamer

Hi my friends:

is this Bass worth 120 € ?? its from 2006, Color is ugly, but i will it refinish etc. etc. if it is a good price...

Sure it worth 120 EUR!!!
Please note that this bass is somehow different than other Warwicks, has a pretty low output, and a soft bassy sound. If you don't expect a monster growler, then buy it!
 
Also keep in mind that those MEC Vintage Humbuckers are worth about 180€ each.
 
oh yes i have read it today in the warwick shop, if i must replace one PU and i was shocked ! ;)
 
Big question about the color:
i have searched the Warwick-Shop for my Serial and it says for the Color:
Ocean Blue Stain High Polish

So does anybody know, if it is really stained and than clear coated, or is it an blue tinted clearcoad ?
have anybody else an similar Warwick with the High Polish STain Colors and chip away the laquer from a Ding?
is it natural wood behind or was it coloured under the chip ?

i will buy it tomorrow, but for me this blueish tone is more than ugly, sure i can it spray an other color, but i like it natural ;)
 
If you ding it, you might chip of the laquer. I think Oil Colour Finish soaks in to the wood, and the High Polish sort of seals it on the outside. I`m no expert. :)
 
Thank you :) now i know it how is it made, because the blue STreamer is mine now.
It's really blue stained and than clearcoated. But atm i rest with the color, because in real life its not only blue, it changes depend on the lightning and angle from dark blue to clear turquoise.
 
Cool, that bass, if it´s in good shape, worths it, an some more euros too.

well i think that colour is awesome! Flo when you say low output etc, is that for all Rockbasses??
 
Flo is right...the vintage PUs in conjucntion with only 40 watts Amp is very very low output.. i can put my Warwick Amp at 100% Volume and its not to loud... with my other basses i can't play at 100% without disturbing our neighbours

but today will arrive a small preamp...if i'am satisfied, i will write and review..
