Here's a little song I recorded today. The bass is my Streamer Stage II, both pickups on with treble and mids set flat and bass boosted just a bit. The guitar is my PRS SE Custom 22, bridge pickup tone full up.
The bassline (heavily influenced by Andy Saxton's Stage II clip on youtube) I wrote a week or two ago, but I just made up the guitar parts after I had the bass line recorded. The drum track is just some sample loops in Garageband (which is also where this was recorded). I just love the way this bass sounds! I originally was going to keep it just the bass alone, but the way it sits in the mix is great (keep in mind, this is my first full self-recording, and I'm still new with garageband, so the mix isn't great, and I screwed up and recorded everything to the left channel only). I was also watching (500) Days of Summer while I recorded this, hence the name.
