Question about 4-string Rockbass Streamer

Hi guys - is there any reason a 4-string Streamer RB could not handle a B-E-A-D stringing?
 
Not really. :) And the low B should be pretty damn solid, heh.
 
Thanks Jester. While I wait to find a Fortress Flashback 4, I'm gonna buy a Streamer RB... :)
 
No Reason at all. It should work nicely - obviously a little filing of nut slot and bridge saddle may be required, but tension wise you're fine.

Thanks, Luke, I appreciate it. I was more concerned about the electronics than anything else, whether or not there is a difference in pups made to handle the "B".

The closest I get to understanding electronics is knowing that the light comes onwhen I flip the switch on the wall. :)
 
No sweat, electronics will be fine ;) The vintage humbuckers in the RB Streamer are pretty low output anyway, but nothing I've ever found the gain dial on my amp couldn't fix - and I like the tone of those pickups very much. For a while I used a Seymour Duncan pickup booster pedal to match the output of the RB Streamer to my Bubinga Corvette, but it's not critical.
