it has a different neck (stripes) and larger f holes and thus a different pot placement

this is indeed a rare bird:-)
 
More of an ugly duckling.
Rob's Infinette is much sexier!
 
Well, I like the extra large f-holes, although they look kinda weird on the small body. A rare bird, indeed.
 
That thing looks fantastic. Still wouldn't pay even close to that amount of money :P
 
Why not use the "Make Offer" button? Many have seen a Wishbass priced 50K, yet the seller would have been happy with 700.
 
Florin or maybe it was Alex and I were talking about these a while back. I have a friend with one. They said these usually sell around $600-800. I saw one sell for that recently as well. I should of bought it.
 
Well snap dizzle. I've never heard of this beast before.

Does anyone know of an online picture gallery/museum with these and information about all the other odd warwick ducklings? If not, I smell an unofficial book deal for someone.
 
I want to cry because I can't afford it!! I want one of these...being a prototype is ever cooler! *sigh*....

but yeah the price tag is high. I'd go $1500 if i had it LOL

There is an unofficila book my forumite Bas Huygen and a person whos name I can not remember, I have got a pdf copy but don't know where the download link is at this moment :(

probably you are refering to the streamette which is BO

And there is supposed to be an official Warwick book in the pipeline, which will surely have pictures of all these rarities.:d
 
F holes? Those are humongous gaping black cracks in there! This bass to me is the thing that should not be.
To each his/her own I guess...

Everyone seems to like this bass, is my taste really that odd?
 
i like it cos its different, and looks like a baby infinity just with big honkin f holes

I can assure you that if you saw one of the Ltd Ed Infinettes for $600-$800 it was either stolen or broken! :lol: As for them 'usually' selling for $600-$800; show me a single instance where this is the case (never mind more than one) and I will defer to your superior knowledge/skills and buy you a drink.

I'm sure that if Flo were to comment he would point out to you exactly how rare these Infinettes are (not the BO Streamette which still sell for double your quoted figure) and when you consider that they are effectively the earliest form of the Infinity then the price tag of $4500 is probably on a par with the cost of a new Infinity.

Oh but then again I'm biased...

in 1992 the US price list said 3495 US $ which equaled the price of a 5 String Stage 1:-)

no longer true for infinites:-)
 
Ah, I am blind! What picture!

I don't think I've ever gave out those price, I usually stay away. I don't think Alex said that either. I would never sell one like this below 2000 EUR, and I mean it!
