ProFet 5.1 setting

Hi,

How can I set my new ProFet 5.1 for have a sound like thinks like Eden amp. or the Stuart Zender sound on the three first Jamiroquai album ?? This is really the sound I want. Any body Can help me please ?

Eden's typically have a lot of headroom, which the ProFet 5.1 lacks. I've owned both, and couldn't get that Eden tone until I bought an Eden. The Warwick does have its own nice tone though.
 
Thanks for your answer ! Do you think that If I put an equalizer pedal between my amp and my bass the sound can be more similar ? Did an equalizer pedal can really help me to find an "Eden" sound with my ProFet ? Also, do you think taht the bass really influence the sound ... for sure yes but can I found a similar sound with an azfelia body than a maple body ?

Well, the basic sound of maple and afzelia is so different so even if the preamp is good you will probably not get the exactly same sound without losing something else / mats
 
So maybe taht he don't have a big difference between the Infinity SN and the Dolphin SN ? ( I know the Infinity is in Zebrano,maple was only an exemple.) Because I'll try an Infinity an really to me it's the perfect bass but the Dolphin really make me crazy !

So do you that he have a big difference between these two bass ?
 
I haven't tried the Dolphin SN but used to own an Infinity SN and that bass was great (and beautiful). Both of them has tone chambers and both of them have the same PUs, the only thing that differs is the body wood, the mass is mainly the same so in the end I guess that it's the looks that makes the choice for you. / mats
