Hey,
got my Profet 5.1 about a week ago.
Played it on a Box @4Ohm with 1*15" an 2*10" speakers ( dont know anything else about the box)
First I thought:"What a GREAT Sound".It sounded really really Nice.
But when my Band Played Along me there was no chance to hear me.
Master was full volume and Gain on about 8 when the Clip starts to flicker. I heard me a little bit but then suddenly the amp cuts the output LED still blink but no Sound.
I restarted the amp ok but the same thing again and again.

What can i do?No chance against 2 guitars with only 150Watts(transistor) They are much louder then I am with 500 watts ??? whats the problem please help. The sound is so Great don´t want to give the amp back.

Thanks

Maurice

Hi Maurice,I bought a Profet 5.1 a couple weeks ago as well.Through a 4 ohm cab it's really loud,it sounds like 500 watts.Did you getta chance to try it with a different cab? Maybe your amp needs to get looked at by a technician & it's under warranty so I would'nt worry too much,I know that's easier said than done sometimes.Warwick look after their customers VERY well.Rest assured if your amps faulty,it will get fixed.
Welcome btw.

Thanks :D

hmm no chance for other cab. the one i have there is 4ohms.
Any Idea why the Speaker out suddenly turns off?

I want to buy a cab if enough money an 4 10" and an 1 15" both 8 ohms
if not enough money first the 4 10"

hope its only a problem of the cab. Like the Sound so much ^^

Maybe there is a short inside, or a cold solder point. I suggest taking the bass to a shop or the Warwick dealer where you got it, to have the warranty help you with the repair charges. Still, it seems like an easy to fix issue and hopefully you'll have it solved in no time.
