it's been a long time since i wrote something here...
first i want to say i never touched the screws on the tuners.
a few days ago i made a setup to my bass and while tuning something went wrong... the "plastic/rubber" in two tuners broke... IMG_20140719_171425.jpgIMG_20140719_171413.jpg

question: can i replace just those parts of the tuners or replace them completly?

I just had that happen on one of my basses. Easiest was just to replace. It was I think $17 and change per tuner from the Warwick Custom Shop, and easy job to swap.

Hi Jorge, good to see you back. To be honest I've seen that before on my basses, but I never felt like replacing them :-)

so from your answers i get that the only option is to replace the complete tuner... it's not a major thing but it would look nicer if the ruber/plastic washer was in one piece ... if i could find just the washer...

had a quick look and places like allparts do a few sizes, cost bugger all. They aren't hard to replace IIRC, just remove the button/key part and swap them out. Its probably not really worth it in my mind to replace the whole tuner for a small, easy to change part like this.
