Hello all! I have a very serious question that I need help with as soon as possible!!
Recently, I traded my Streamer LX (for a Thumb). Well, the new owner checked the manual on the configuration of the preamp and it turns out the controls are switched around! Here is part of his message about the issue:
"The bass control is the only one in the right spot, but the pup pan is where the volume should be, the treble where the pan should be, and the volume where the treble should be. Did you move these pots around? If so, might I inquire as to why? It's nothing major or something I can't get used to, I'm just curious. Oh yeah, and the pickup pan is backwards. When I turn towards the neck, the bridge pickup is soloed, and when I turn to the bridge, the neck pickup is soloed. Again, just curious. Didn't know if you rewired this or someone else did or what. Please let me know."
The previous owner of the bass (before me) told me the bass was bone stock and I assumed it was as well. I'm kicking myself for not noticing this in the past and now need to make this right for the new owner. Could anyone offer me advice on this?
