Post Gig Care

Hi dudes and dudettes,

I've just got a Corvette Double Buck in Nirvana Black.

I always clean my basses down after a gig. If it's a normal polyester finish - I'll spray with a bit of furniture polish, and give it a good clean (but not the fingerboard).

What should I do about my Warwick. Will furniture polish harm the finish - and what about the back of the neck? What do you guys do? I understand the Coloured finishes don't need waxing - as they are sealed - as informed by tech support.

for my guitars and anything that has a sealed finish, I use Virtuoso guitar polish. I always got it at Guitar Center near me. AS for the neck....on my Warwick, I would occasionally treat it with Tung Oil.
