Possible Purchase, Is it worth it?

So I found a 99 Corvette with a swamp ash body, wenge neck and fretboard, Bartolini NTMB preamp with Bartonlini pickups and I can get it for about $750 (american). Does this seem like a good idea? I don't really need another bass, but this seems like too good of a deal to pass up. Tell me your thoughts. Thanks in advance for the help.

Normally I would say no for a used Corvette at that price..... but if it has a wenge neck, than I would have to say yes. :lol:

Thats how I feel, the wenge neck, along with the Bartolini pickups/3 band preamp I think makes it seem like a steal. Thanks for your input.

Are you sure about the Wengé neck?
A 1999 Warwick normally should have an Ovangkol neck, but few ones still feature Wengé necks

Yup, Im sure. Ive seen pics and apparently this is a one of a kind from Europe?

This bass sounds like it is a Custom Shop instrument. The decision is yours to make. But just to help you out a bit, there's not many Corvettes out there with a Wenge neck and a bartolini pickups and electronics.
