Possible Body Trade in?

Hey guys, Its been a while.

I've been wondering if it were possible to trade my old, really beaten up $$ body in for a new one? (obviously with some money included). I want to redo my bass and this would make the whole process a lot easier.

Considering as how Wick will sell you a neck ONLY
if you turn in the neck you already have, I spoze it
would be reasonable that a body could be replaced.

However they MIGHT insist that only an authorized
repair shop can do the swap ... just to protect their
reputation against players who may be way uncool
at soldering, etc.

You could ask Tyler at the NYC Warwick showroom.
Tell him his homey [me] sent ya !

Warwick won't sell a neck even if you trade in an old one. They'll only replace a broken neck if it's sent with it's accompanying body to have it fitted.

And I don't the Tyler works for Warwick anymore.

OK. So, no more Tyler at NYC ....

.... and apparently, you'll hafta take an ax or chain-saw to the
body and then send the whole bass to Warwick. Thaz do-able.

hmmm maybe I should ust use some good old fashioned elbow grease on it, thank you for the responses guys!
