Pickups with woodcovers

I don't see the point. It's like putting velvet hubcaps on your car. The body looks like this, the wheels/pickups look like this. QED.

Can you pick the woods you want to use for the covers or is there a standard wood they use? I'm really liking the look of these pups! I think I'm going to end up with a solid bubinga bass before its all said and done. :twisted:

JB-Pickups are available in black, white and creme coloured covers

It's not for my Warwicks, it's for a friends' Scheter. Anyone in the US. doing this? I can't tell if the Haussel site is for the whole pup or just the covers. Thanks.
 
It seems to be for the whole pickup. It's an interesting idea for certain.. :roll: might have to email the guy about 16.5mm spaced J pickups.. :twisted: ~M~

Edelgehäuse aus Ebony oder Rosewood sind möglich = Covers in Ebony or Rosewood is available :)
And they'll even do custom stringspaced pickups.
