hi you guys :lol: i own thumb bo4 2001!i'm just wonder about my pick up!i feel a little bit wavy or drop! when i'm playing sometime it not smooth ?cause of my bass or my amp.so what do you think about this? if on my bass how can i check my pick up working normal?please tell me about this problem i will appreciate :cry: sorry i'm bad in english

Please check your battery. It may need to be replaced.

It could be many things. As mentioned before, check your battery, try replacing it with a new one. Also check your pickup height, sometimes if they are too close the strings (or too far from them) you might get a weird sound of out of your bass. We use a 6mm allen key over the pickup while holding the string on the 24th fret to check of the pickup heights.

No problemo, there is a slight possibility that you might need to fine-tune just a tiny bit depending on how you want your saound, but it is definitely a good start point.
