PESTILENCE and SADIST Members Start New Recording Project 'NUFUTIC'

Nadir Music revealed this week that bassist Jeroen Paul Thesseling (PESTILENCE, ex-OBSCURA) joins forces with guitar/keyboard virtuoso Tommy Talamanca (SADIST) in a new recording project 'NUFUTIC'.
"We are very stoked about this new collaboration," says Talamanca. "Our working field will be fusion-influenced metal, a direction that allows us to combine progressive elements of our musical backgrounds."

The Dutch/Italian group announced via Thesseling's website [www.jeroenthesseling.com] to hold video auditions for drummers who play jazz-fusion and metal. Interested parties should send their background info and performance web links via email to: contact [at] jeroenthesseling [dot] com

Tommy has played with the Italian prog/death band SADIST since 1991 and appeared on their albums "Above The Light" (1993), "Tribe" (1996), "Crust" (1997), "Lego" (2000), "Sadist" (2007) and "Season In Silence" (2010). Last year, Tommy contributed a guitar solo to the track "Euclidean Elements" on OBSCURA's latest album, "Omnivium".

Thesseling collaborated with OBSCURA from 2008 to 2011 and recorded the band's full-length albums "Cosmogenesis" (2009) and "Omnivium" (2011). In 2009 Jeroen rejoined Dutch death metallers PESTILENCE after a 15-year hiatus. He recorded PESTILENCE's fourth and sixth studio albums, "Spheres" (1993) and "Doctrine" (2011).

Sorry guys but here in my country we'va a lot of great Metal musicians.....and this kind of Music simply isn't popular...
It's very frustrating...

...or maybe stef broks (exivious, textures). he is a brutal metal machine in textures, but with exivious, he shows that he really has that fusion groove. plus, he is dutch, which makes it easier for the band to form i guess.
