Is there a Warwick parts catalog available either online or in hard copy? I'd like to replace my '00 Thumb BO's strap buttons with the new straplocks being offered. Any suggestions?

If Iam not wrong and your bass have the strap buttons like the Thumb BO showed in the Warwick site you only have to buy the strap locks and simply insert them into the pins of each strap button .

Coop,

If the strap buttons you now have are the external type with the rubber cushion, the Schaller strap locks should fit.

When you say the new straplocks being offered, do you mean the recessed Jim Dunlop type? If you prefer the recessed type, you'll need to drill larger holes in your baby to install them.

Hello Coop,

If the basses have a conventional strap button, which was
used after the Dunlops but before the Warwick straplocks, they still
require a little bit of doweling. The screw diameter of the strap
buttons is larger than the straplock, so the original mounting hole
needs to be drilled out to the size of a commonly available dowel.
After the dowel is glued in, then a new pilot hole needs to be drilled
to the proper diameter. Then the Warwick straplock parts can be
installed in the usual way. It is a good idea to put parafin or beeswax
on the threads of the installation screws to ease their installation.

If you are withing the US you can call your local dealer and ask for them or contact Dana B. Goods directly, they are our US dealer.

Good luck.
