Yes, 5 years after it was cool to have a Myspace page, I finally uploaded a couple of songs that my other half and I have written.

They're a bit rough - the bass needs completely retracking but they were more learning projects on how to use Sonar/Protools.

Check them out...they aren't death metal though! :wink:
 
not my cup of tea, but the bass was cool, just a solid bass line that drove the song

Thanks - the bass will sound even better when it's retracked.

We're planning on re-doing both songs with a drummer that we know, rather than my crap arsed drumming, so they'll sound more polished in a couple of months time.
 
Sweet tone on the bass.
(Don't forget to use auto-tune on the vocals though :) )
 
You're not that bad on drums Giles.There's alot of drummers that'd agree. :wink:
 
Cheers guys - and yes, the vocals were a bit dodgy but both songs were really just put together as we were writing them.

Greg - I'll confess that they were played in via an electronic kit and EZ Dummer and there may just have been a little quantizing to get them bang in time :wink:
