I know, I said I wouldn't buy any more Warwicks this year since my bills are high and the hospital will add to it. I also said I was going to hold my GAS for a Streamer Stage I until the future and let it be a dream to keep me reaching. But you know what happens when you hold your GAS too long... :lol:

So I was browsing eBay yesterday and now I am the proud winner of this 18volt, high polish blue AAA flame SSI for only $1600.00 USD:






Ain't she a beauty!

Now that's a great way to put it! Both a beautiful bass and good health have very important meaning for me these days! :)
 
after all you've been through and the fact that you took it like a champ, I think you have some reasons to pay yourself a little present for your courage.

That's what sealed the deal for me. Usually a Streamer that looks like this goes for well over $2K, so when the bid stayed under #1500 and reserve hadn't been met, I was worried the seller wanted to hold out for $2K or more. Fortunately the two who were bidding on it before never showed up at closing, and I offered $1800, but met reserve at only $1600! This kinda deal and sweet looking primo condition bass doesn't come along too often, so I made my move to relieve more GAS... :D
