Ok we can scratch that old thread cos HERE IT IS.

FIVE months....to get this.

I'm going to put Ernie Ball slinky Cobalts on him....I've got those on the vette and i really like them.

After fooling around with it, tuning it but not really playing it much cos it's late and I really should be in bed right now lol...I gave "him" his place beside Warco, my Corvette.

Now, my husbands says, after I get the Ubass I want(those are just so cute lol) I have to save for the German Vampyre.....That's fine because two basses are enough for me for now. The Ubass I can take in the bus with me to fool with cos it's sooooo portable....
And yes, when I got a moment I will take that photo with me, my Beetle and the Vampyre together. lol

This is very good news Lady ! The whole operation reminded me of my struggle with the Rockbass Alien couple years back. I'm happy for you :)
 
Yes, a long frustrating wait and a happy end. 8: Everything works on it perfectly fine. Pretty much playable out of the box too, I'm going to let my fellow Warwick playing friend take a look & double check the set up. Eyeballing the neck it looks fine though. This specific one has been waiting for his owner since April of '11. Poor thing! To think it was sitting alone in some huge warehouse for so long! I just registered it too. Nice it has a 2 yr warranty. It's overall appearance is totally acceptable, construction is very nice. No flaws in the materials, the neck is great, everything is as it should be. I never seen such a tidy electronics compartment, that impressed me.

I got the Franklin Strap at GC...loved it, its real soft and comfy and the straplocks fit snug with it.

Congratulations, Lady, this saga kept us busy a long time, we need a new one: The German Vampyre :-)
 
Actually ordering a German bass can be far more predictable :-) Rarely we delivered a bass later than 6 weeks. Of course there is also shipping from Germany to US...

Aint it such a contradiction? A mass produced bass takes almost 4 times more to be delivered than a Custom bass.

aaahh... The humanity. ;)
 
The saving part of it will take a few years, thats already happening. $50 is the savings lol...i want the one in my siggy, dtuner, and hubby says get LEDs...they have blue LEDs i hope?

Thats funny cos i thought they needed to make more basses or something...nah...just had to wait for the next big shipment to come over

Omg ive been nonstop at work i haven't been able to really fool around with it lol

prob not til after I get back from vegas this w/e
