I'm getting closer to perfecting the video recording thing.

dam .. that was cool Gerry. Clean video, sweet sounding audio, a pretty bass, and a hot chick, what more could you ask for in a video. Pretty much looks like you got the process nailed. All that's left to do is a detailed how to so we can all benefit from your trials and errors and make our own killer videos.

I actually did a much better performance of this little ditty earlier in the day before I figured out how to get a really clean sound:

Despite the crappier sound, I'm sure you'll agree.

Incidentally, I originally wrote this for the Warwick Compilation Album (#2) but never finished it!
 
Awesome playing dude, good to hear some Warwick played with a pick, and lol Age: 46, you look alot younger!

Yes, I play pick, fingers, thumb (both slap and pluck)...whatever is required!

Yes, I'm an old fart. I look much younger than I feel!

EQ: On the SSII I had the mids cranked with the treb and bass flat. Then I used a overdrive and compressor pluggin. Not sure what the EQ settings were in the DAW (sony acid). prolly just mostly flat. The key to this sound is digging as hard as you ♣♣♣♣ing can into the strings and compressing the ♣♣♣♣ out of the signal. LOL. I use compression as an effect ;-)

What'd you use for the drum tracks?
 
Thanks naetog. I used addictive drums, which I programmed in FL Studio.
 
ahh, good old fruity loops. That's something I'm going to have to look into. Thanks for the info!
