Hey there!
How come there are no new product demos anymore? Especially the Corvette $$ LTD 2016 and the new 2016 electronic system.
Where in Andy???

Andy has left the company. He had major personal problems, no idea if he is through with it. I don't think so tbh. They did not replace him yet. The new idea it seems are the short - and nice! - product vids. No real demos they are ofc. You are right, there is something missing sooner or later.

We could do them...
To be honest, we SHOULD do them.
No strings attached, no money, just the truth.

I'm just lacking knowledge and a bit of material to do those. I'm currently recording with my iPad and a Tascam im2 microphone, and the CD player in the background, so a bit shabby...

I think we WILL do them. I mean... if not us, who then?
I have a good feeling that things will move better from now.

Well I have to find a solution to have a better recording. That's the best I can do right now, if I want to have the vidéo, or else it's just the sound with GarageBand.

Ideas to make it better ?

It sounds great, Henry! Great playing too :-)

Thanks Brothas :-)
But it sounds so muffled to my ears. I'm not sure it's a good enough quality for a review. Maybe I'll try with just a bass and no backing track.

Not a bad idea to have members record demos, but those are already all over youtube. I think Warwick will want another representative or two than can do demo videos, clinics and tours, namm events etc. I've coveted Mr . Irvines position for years, but I'm sure it wasn't as easy or fun as it seemed all the time. The guy was definitely warm and approachable, harder to find than you'd think.

This is an exciting time for the company, with the 2016 updates to the basses I'm sure their public relations will grow and change as well. I will miss Andy though...

"Eeyyy everybody, what's happenin?"

Well, they are recruiting a product specialist.

Have you seen the requirements for the position? I don't think Andy did half of what they are looking for now, although I think they intend on getting more than one person to fill the position...or paying one guy a huge salary!

Looks like a fun position, but the amount of international traveling Andy had to do would get old very quickly. I think the ideal candidate for this is someone who's already a road dog and maybe wants a break from actually playing music. Someone who's gotten used to the travel and being away from home.

You and ChrisK should do this officially on this forum. We should create a nice platform for this kind of clips/ reviews. Would you like to do that?

I'll be happy to!
The only thing is that I ran out of Warwick basses...
