Ok, After 20 years of playing Bass, I have bought a Warwick. Better late than never I hear you say. So I have sold off a few Fenders and bought Warwick Special Edition Streamer LX 5. My god its a thing of beauty. So here is the question. I have endorsed Orange for years and now regularly use a Terror Bass 500 coupled with a SmartPower SP212 Isobaric 2×12″ Bass Speaker Cabinet. Anyone else using Warwick and Orange together? Would be interested to hear your opinions on this combination?

I'm happy to put up a review on this after I have used it for a while, so watch this space.

Man with a plan(k) - Wooden Bass - get it ?

PS, Long term EB Musicman Stingray 4 player, so lets go from 4 to 5 as well for the trip.

Hi Andrew, welcome home :-)

This is the kind of combination I like. A modern sounding Warwick bass, with vintage sounding amplification. So you have the best of both worlds - tightness, and tube sweethness!

I believe one of our forum members uses a Terror Bass 500, I think it was "phunku", and I have only demo'ed a Terror Bass 500 head at a music store (with one of their Fenders... Because I only went into the store to buy some strings and saw it there).

I must say that I liked the sound of the amp, and I might grab one some day. As for getting the Orange Smart Cab, I don't think so. Orange Cabs tend to be a little pricey for my taste. But the Cab I did play it through was a SWR Goliath 4x10. Put it at three and it was already too loud, Heh.
