It's a '98 Streamer Pro M.

I don't have it yet - should be able to pick it up next week.

Yeah, contrary to my post above, although I haven't heard it I do have a pretty good idea what she'll sound like, and I think I'm going to love it.

I had a Pro-M for a while, and it had a great, tight sound. You'll be very happy with it!

Rob - thanks for posting the video... I didn't see that when I first read your post ;) Sounds nice!

Herb - you're right about the buying and selling! I was in a really bad place with that... :( I made a list a few weeks ago, and found that in the last 8 years of playing bass I have bought and sold 42 amps/cabs, and 28 basses!!!

That number kind of crept up on me, and it wasn't until I listed them all that I discovered just how bad I've been. I added up the cost of them all, and the loss on each sale, and it was downright scary!

I'm really not sure why I bought so many... GAS is fun for a while, but left unchecked it can get really bad!

Superficially I think I was trying to buy musicality and tone. Deep down I know this isn't true of course, but it took me a long time to come to that realisation.

I've bought lots of silly things I shouldn't have, and I've sold one or two things that I really regret (my CS Afzelia Corvette for example!).

Now I'm committed to only buying things for the right reasons, and I'm not going to sell any more gear simply to fund GAS! I'm now officially a reformed GAS addict! :d

Here's to a carefully selected collection of Wicks and no more bargain sales to fund the next purchase!

Nice bass! That's a sick tone in that vid.
I have had a lot of gas lately... but one thing I will never do is sell instruments!!! I was just raised that instruments are meant to be collected, played and kept. God forbid my dad ever dies but when he does I will get something like 12 really nice guitars and basses (guess who taught me to never sell instruments). Well, I sold a Spector for a steal on a custom shop Wick but that doesn't count.
