New Vett, how to take care of it?

Hey guys, I am now a proud owner of a nice 4 string Vett. I'm new to Warwicks, so I was wondering if my finish needs waxing? Also, is there a guide to waxing in this forum? That's a nice new RockBass Corvette Basic you have there.

The finish is sealed with a clear lacquer and doesn't need waxing.

The only ongoing maintenance I would apply is a periodic lemon oil on the fingerboard when changing strings.

But then some of us never use their lemon oil... My greasy fingers keep the fingerboard oiled up by just playing.
 
I know, I know we are joking, but maybe the guy will actually think that poptato chips grease is good for fingerboard :-)

As a new owner oyu might not know that they will need occasional feeding. Just leave a small rabbit, or large rat out over night with it every three months or so. Failing to do so and small animals and even people's pets might start dissapearing from your neighbourhood, and some difficult questions might be asked.
 
Sorry just re-read your post. You said "Corvette", i read "enourmous, razor-toothed killing machine anaconda". so ignore that and just oil the FB every now and then. Congrats and good thing you decided a wick and not a giant snake, they can be dangerous, and a lot of work.

Thanx for cleaning our mess, Boss. :)

Indeed, we were just kidding. Use Lemmon oil for the fingerboard, it will keep it nice and shinny. Greasy fingers from eating chips or chicken is not a good idea. ;)
 
Haha, thanks Nacho, you would be surprised what kind of emails I am receiving sometimes. And I am not talking only about the kinky ones...
