Newb here. Been jamming on Washburn, Peavey and SX basses for a while and they really got stale. Started looking around at Peavey, Ibanez, Yamaha, Washburn, Schecter, Fender and was terribly bored with basses that everyone else had. Monday morning I search 5 string basses on EBay and up popped a RockBass Streamer 5 for $319 inc shipping. Bought it on the spot. I realize it's "entry" level but I am in a real hurry to get away from the SXs. I figure I will have a nice honeymoon phase with the Streamer and next year upgrade and use it as a back up.

A friend of mine was looking for a "entry" level bass for his son and ended up getting him a streamer RockBass. On my way to his house i was thinking about how bad this bass was going to be, and was VERY shocked for find out the RB was amazing for the price. Build quality is very high for the price. I think he pay'd 300 quid for it but if he told me he pay'd 500 then i would have believed him !!!
