Hi all,
I am a new member hoping to get some advice on a few problems with a new Streamer Jazzman in Burgundy red finish. It is a 2006 model that the dealer bought from Dana B Goods in 2008 or 2009.
I thought I could live with the finish flaw ( applied so thick it dripped on one horn ), but now there is a new problem. I bought the bass about 7 months ago from the dealer online and it is too late to return. I have only played it for about an hour and did not attempt to give it a set up till now.
The neck and string action cannot be set up to Warwick specs without string buzzing under average to light playing feel. A local luthier has looked at it and informed me that the neck relief is centered too close to the neck/body joint to properly set it up without removing some frets, resurfacing the fingerboard, replacing, leveling and crowning those frets.
Are these issues eligible for a warranty repair?
Thanks for any help!
