new rockbass fretless streamer vs. used german corvette fretless

Should I buy a new rockbass streamer fretless or a used corvette std fretless? I would go try them out but the local shops carry only budget models. I love the feel of my 5 string corvette's neck. I have never played a streamer and do not know if the neck is comparable to my corvette. Also, what are the tonal characteristics of each? I play mostly jazz so I am looking for an warm woody tone.
