hey folks,

how could i get a new neck for my corvette ?
On the installed neck is the trussrod broken. i´ve bought my corvette from a friend of mine wo sand the neck at the pocket end down and now the trussrod is broken/doesn´t work...so the bass is unplayable and probably need a new neck...i´m going to upload pics for you but i don´t know if its me or it is difficult to upload pics..;)

the facts about the corvette:

German made standard Corvette bubinga 5 string from 2008 with on of the thicker necks

for any questions...feel free to ask...i hope you guys could help me

A pity to hear. Maybe it's best to e-mail Warwick?

Pics: Best is to upload them in something like Photobucket or Flickr and use the forum-code to past it here.

a luthier can change the trussrod.
He needs to remove thr fingerboard etc.

i remember me ..on al warwick bolt ons is a little gap between the body and the end of the neck...on my corvette isn´t such a gap. the guy who had this corvette first , sand it down, so there isn´t that small gap anymore. You could see the scratches from the sanding on the backside on the neck. The action is very bad at the moment: bridge complete down..the strings 2,8mm to the fretboard at the 24th fret and the trussrod isn´t working. Let me explain: the truss turns..but nothing happend...there is no pressure on the rod.
There are four bolt on holes. One of the drillings on the neck is cracked up and the wood starts to fall off...im glad that´s not my bad, maybe the previous owner had done the toothpick-trick. i don´t know. I hope that´s is a better description of my problem. Sorry for bad English. Next point: Hope to upload the pics when i´m at home. :)
