New member of the Family: Steve Bailey´s Signature model

He's a great guy and like with most of the Warwick Endorsers, when you meet them and hear them play: You just see it's about the instrument, not about the endorsment contract.
And when you see HP with a big smile, jumping and shouting in front of the stage - almost at every performance and every day, you also see he just really cares.

Gotta love Warwick.

What an amazing player... and with that harmonic enhancer, ideal fretless tone. :)

I'm gonna be a cynical smart-arse and loudly wonder how much the Hellborg rig influenced his switch.... I think Fender's cold reception to him would have been a little more tolerable if he still thought the Fender-owned SWR had the hippest amps!

That bass sounds incredible!!!! Ever since I saw the Bass Extremes DVD i've been messing around with artificial harmonics. They just sound so great on the new Steve Bailey signature! I'm glad he's part of the family!

Man it sounds great! Different than other fretless Wicks ive heard. I like!

Diggin' the Snakewood fingerboard and the fact Steve said the bass will be available in fretted and fretless 4, 5, & 6 string models. :)

I though i had managed to move my GAS from bolt on streamers to NT thumbs and dolphins......no longer. Not sure about the pickguard but that tone, that harmonic boost and that snakewood make the tastiest FL sound i have heard. Really make you want to get a FL6 and work it out. DREWL!

Those personal features really make that bass unique, most importantly the reflecting pickguard ;)

Nice bass!! Welcome SB!!

Hey Guys!! Thanks for all the kind words. Lotsa love went into the bass, from a lot of people... I love it. Marcus S, and everyone else involved! Great work, taking my ideas and creating an artful tool of tone! steve

I'd love to try one out and fiddle about with the controls! This looks like a very interesting bass indeed. Most signature models are way out of my league though, I technically could afford one but for someone who only plays a couple of gigs a year it wouldn't make much sense to. The wife certainly would not approve ;)

Hi Steve,

Welcome to the family, and the forum!

It's really great of you to take the time to drop by here and say hello - we really appreciate it. Congratulations on the beautiful bass, and I look forward to hearing more from you.

(I hope BATB happens again one day - I'd love to get along to one of your camps!)

Cheers,

Luke.

Welcome aboard Mr. Bailey! It's great to have another amazing musician on the forums (even if its only for a post or two)!

Yeah! Great pleasure to have Mr. Bailey here. Hope you like the place and will start hanging around here more often :)
