new jack

hi i have the 2002 rockbass classic active 4 string (made in china i believe) just to sing its praise i'd like to say this is the first problem i have had since new & i bought it in 03,

i now need a new jack socket it seems that it is a sealed unit ie; nothing you can fix yourself (bad idea) & i cant find the replacement part on warwicks site for this model.

so any ideas/help would be cool guys .....cheers

get a stereo jack. You can find one on thomann made by Warwick, or by Switchcraft. This is a very common problem with sealed sockets. the inside blades get loose...

+1 to that. I've fitted these exact Neutrik sockets to my Rockbass and my Streamer. Easy job and a great price!
