Hey Everyone

I'm new to Warwick and to the forum. I just picked up a used Corvette $$ over the weekend and played my first gig with it the day I got it...never even touched my P-Bass because the sound I got from my Warwick was incredible! One problem, since I got it used there was no manual and I'm trying to find a good explanation of what the switches are actually controlling. I checked the Warwick site and found the manual, but was hoping for something with a little more detail. After using a P-Bass with nothing but volume and tone, I'm totally confused with my Warwick.

Hey BD Bass, welcome to the forum :-)

The pots are: Volume, Pickup Blend , Treble, Bass/
VOlume.... this is simple, if you pull it, you bypass the EQ.
Blend - you feel a detent in the middle. That's the place where both the pickups are equal.
I would use only the neck or bridge pickup in humbucker mode, or both pickups if they are in single coil mode. But this is me :-)
The swithes are:
Down is parallel. That's the normal humbucker mode.
In the middle - single coil. Only one coil is on, like a Jazz bass (not really, but close)
Up is serial... well, different than parallel :-)
So, play with it, and find your sound. AFter this it will be like your Pbass - you know the settings, you plug the bass, and enjoy the music :-)

Welcome, BD. Don't be a stranger, especially if you have $$ questions. And by the way, there's a tradition here on the forum (I'm surprised Florin forgot to mention it)... no picture = no bass. ;)
 
Hey Thanks! As soon as I get a chance I'll get the picture up there. Haven't touched my P-Bass since last week when I got the Warwick $$, this is one amazing bass!!
