New Forum Look & Feel

Hi everyone.

You will have noticed the look and feel of your trusted Warwick forum has changed quite a lot. The new forum style is named "Hellborg" and is based on the Hellborg system pre-amp colors.

Also the performance of things has been given a great boost. Only thing still acting up now and then is the database server and this is being dealt with within the next months.

This awesome job has been realized by Florin, JSmith and yours truly.

A few notes:

  1. This new Hellborg style has a fixed width design. This means the post will look the same on any screen resolution or device (think smartphones, ipads etc.). This also means that images you post might lose a bit on the right side if they are too large and do not fit. The maximum width for an image within a post is 739 pixels. Keep this in mind. You might want to use attachments instead which show up as thumbnails within your post.
  2. Your "My Profile" page can be customized by yourself. If you did in the past it will probably still have the dark color theme to it and look weird within the new forum style. You can reset it to defaults yourself which will make it use the current standard color scheme.
  3. If you have any problems, questions or remarks about the Hellborg forum style, do not hesitate to throw me a PM and I will get back to you on the matter.

I've got to echo the sentiments of those above - much easier on the eye and, for some reason, looks more professional..good work...free Ice Cream to whoever had the idea..
 
Great job, guys. It looks better, feels smoother, and seems just more pleasent. :d
 
It's a great looking theme. I love grey/black/white themes. The drop shadows on the avatars are a nice touch.
 
nice! my first thought was "hey, happened here???" but that's cool!
 
I really don't like the new colors. I thought the dark background with light font was much more pleasant on the eye for reading. Please switch the colors back.
 
Great new colours and much more professional looking. Also no longer hurts my eyes to read :)
