New EMG TJ+J vs '80s ones?

Anybody knows if there are substantial differences between newer EMG TJ+J vs older ones, like the ones that were mounted on Dolphin pro I?
Would you suggest new MEC instead? Thanks for any input.

there are different kinds of newer ones:

silver is ceramic just like mecs
gold is alnico
copper logo = tw


afaik the past gold and the new silver thing are ceramic - the old wicks hat gold emgs

so the closest to an old gold logo emg would be a new silver one but not 100% sure.
