new dog

i might be getting a new dog a two year old bullmastiff from a friend of a friend.supossed to be good temperd and fixed and housebroken.called and said i would take the dog now i'm waitng for the call back.the dog came from a rescue shelter and the current owners can't keep her so if everything works out i'll have a new dog and a big food bill and landmines in the back yard ha ha.my kids are looking foward to it to.
 
Bullmastifs are really cool. Ya gotta make very clear to them who's the boss and who's the dawg tho. You gotta keep em in check. Post pics when you get the dog plz!
 
now i have to get a camara and learn how to use it.i didn't want to say anything till i had the dog i didn't want to put the jinx on it but i realy want to get the dog,when i lived at home i wasn't allowed and when i got a place of my own it never seemed to happen.i had a couple of dogs but i alway get strays or shelter dogs,can't see buying a dog when theres so many good ones looking for a home.
 
sad day for me i went to see the dog she was nice got along with my kids so were took her to see if she would get along with my dogs and it was no deal she came from a house with a lot of kids and other dogs but even my doopy dog and her didn't get along so we all decided it was not for the best to try and make them get along.i feel bad cause i don't want to see the dog go to a shelter and.my kids were heartbroken they wanted the dog .but i'm no ceaser milan so it was more then i could handle.but it's not like i want another dog it's just i hate seeing good dogs go to the pound and end up being put to sleep.and i always have had two to four dogs so three wasn't a problem.
