Check out the custom gallery! It's a bonanza! Plus the new descriptions are very nice! Check out the burl! Love that!

This bass has the wrong neck, but still nice!
 
I'll claim that Corvette, and I'm pretty sure one of those Streamers is Kho's... The maple neck is working out just fine, too! :D ~M~
 
Still a nice Vette! How does it play/sound? Anything like the old one?
 
Plays wonderfully! I spent about two hours with it this morning moving from one style and sound to the next without having to touch the amp at all. It's quite different from the 4 string version that it's modelled after - more 'boing', less 'thud', overall the best and most versatile bass I've met. Now I just gotta make sure it doesn't go anywhere... :twisted: ~M~
 
Aren't they building you a new one?

The Afzelia grain, the hardware, the pickups, everything's perfect !
 
As much as I usually love the Stage II, the burl just takes the first place prize here! :D

Yep. Identical except with an ovangkol neck. Due in about three months or thereabouts. ~M~
 
Will you then have to return the one you have now?
 
I'm working on that with DBG at the moment. I'd really rather just hold on to this one, if it's all the same ya know? We've got a couple months to figure out how it's going to go down, but my preference is to keep this one as well. It's too cool to let go and sometimes you just have to look at what life puts in front of you and realise that maybe that's the way it's supposed to be... Besides, who else would want to buy this exact bass? ~M~

(There's also the bit about this being the first CS Corvette NT... A little piece of history is always a good thing :P since the specs were to imitate one of the lost limited's of years past.)

The P/P pickup configuration on that Corvette NT looks cool.

I've been checking the CS galley every day to see if they've finished my bass yet :P
