I know I promised pictures of my new fretless when it came. Unfortunately it took quite a bit longer than I thought it would. Anyways, I finally recieved it, but before I was even able to get my fretless, I was able to get my hands on another Corvette.

So here are my two new beauties. It took me awhile to finally get Corvettes that I love again, but the wait was definitely worth it. :)

I'm totally diggin' the pattern in the Bubinga and the exposed pole pickups on the fretted...

Then the lined fingerboard and the EMG system with those knobs on the fretless - you got some unique basses there! Good score, and welcome to the 'Vette club! 8)

thats a beautiful pair of vettes you've got there :D nice one!

dangit! i KNEW i should have spent a bit more on the bubinga ver!!

I absolutely love bubinga. There's something about it that just separates it from all other woods. Not to say that there's no other amazing woods out there, but out of the common types used for basses (not custom), bubinga beats all.

haha well Jbassfox, i know now. my only other bet now is to get a bubinga corvette $$ NT. just wish the maple neck wasnt visible though.

No doubt, JBassFox, bubinga is my favorite wood too. I've seen so many great looking pieces of bubinga lumber, and you have a pair of real wnners there!

Really? That's my favorite (cosmetic) element of the bubinga Corvette NT! I chose it over the ash version for tonal reasons, but hated that the wood seperation on the ash NT was hidden by stain...

Maybe it's a "picture thing" - in person it looks stunning. But I'm not biased or anything...

i dun know evolvebass, guess it's just not me :) maybe classy looks but i'd prefer an all-bubinga body for me, just to keep the rock image. heh.
