Hi Guys,

The girls next door's sister arrived today!

:d

...pics to follow after we've done a bit of bonding!

;)

Here's a quick pic of the little bass corner in my study with the new fretless 'Vette hanging next to her older sister!

:d

More detailed pics of my new fretless to follow!

;)

OK Guys...

Of course we have a rule here... No Pics No Bass!

:d

So - as requested, here are some quick pics I popped of this afternoon for you.

This is a really nice bass - the standout timber is a really beautiful Ovangkol neck on this beauty! 100% porn grade Ovangkol!

I hope you enjoy the pictures!

:d

Thanks for looking!

Lovely bass! And that's a great effect you've got on the strings in the 2nd and last photos!

But you know, when I joked the other day that you had more amps than basses, I didn't mean for you to go out and buy half a dozen new basses!!

Thanks Mart - that out of focus effect is a result of having nice tight control over depth of field with my 35mm f/1.8 lens. It's great fun!

Regarding the basses...... I only bought three more!

I just had to make up the numbers!

:d

Ok, that makes sense - it's still a wild effect! I need to start playing with my camera a bit more ...

Ok, I'm going to have to start buying amps then. And if my wife asks any questions, I'll refer her to you!

Done!

Just tell her you need to maintain a delicate balance between the number of amps you have and the number of basses you have. Works here!

For those of you now questioning my sanity, you're quite right... I'm nuts!

No - seriously... this is a lovely bass... build is top notch as you would expect, playability wonderful, and tone is gorgeous. I've just decided I really preferred the gorgeous Afzelia Fretless Corvette I had made in the Custom Shop a few years ago. I stupidly sold that, so I'm going to save up for another.

;)

Nice bass, and pics, love to see a beautiful bass without crappy cellphone pics. Thanx for sharing.

Wish I was in Australia to come get it> It's gorgeous. Is the Fingerboard wood Ebony or man made ebanol?

Thanks! Although maybe I shouldn't try this when I've just ordered a new bass since, at the moment, I have far more basses than amps!:|

That means you need to buy more amps of course!
