According to the product page on warwick.de for the Thumb NT it has 24 frets, instead of the usual 26. Has a change been made? If so, why?

Probably a typo. The other ThumbNT options say 26.

It looks like a bad copy paste to me, I've said on the Warwick Bass group on FB as well.
Only the 4 string thumb NT model has 24 frets in the description on the Warwick product page and the description itself starts with "Bolt-On" and continues to state that the bass comes with only 2 band electronics.
The 5 and 6 string models still have 26 frets in their specs and 3 band electronics.
I think the Bolt-On specs were mistakenly pasted instead of the NT specs, 26 frets are awesome, I don't think Warwick would change such a detail on one of their flagship models that's been like that for years :)

Thanks guys, I reprted the mistake, and they will fix it. No worriez, thumb haz 26 frets :-)

Alrighty - I was beginning to worry for a while there that my next bass wouldn't be thumb after all. Back to happy mode!

Phew!!

My question - looking at certain CS Thumbs, particularly BN NTs, it looks like they took the BO body shape and converted it to NT. Why is that? Particularly with a 5-string BN, why not just take the 6-string body and make it 5-strings (like the Thumb SC)?
