Hi folks,

I have acquired a Streamer std for my mates sons 15 birthday (his dad is buying it for him but knows very little about basses so trusted me to do it) , and now need a few parts to make it ready for action.

Shopping list of parts that have not worn well and need replacing.

4x neck bolts and washers (rusty...)

Adjusta-nut grub screws (rusty)

4x Bridge to body screws (rusty)

4 x Saddle intonation screws and springs (again rusty)

4x Pick up screws (guess what.... rusty)

Thats about it....... They are silly little details but If I'm going to strip it and set it up properly, I would like to change these for him so its as spangley as it should be.

Overall its been gigged pretty hard and shows some scars as a result, but as expected of a 9yr old Warwick is in pretty damn good nick otherwise.

So folks, any suggestions who or where I should contact to get these small bits would be gratfeully apprceiated.....

Bob.

Funny, I've been looking for replacement screws and stuff earlier this week as well.
You can order them directly from the Warwick webshop, thomann.de or basscentre.com (UK based so you could just give em a telephone call to ask for advice).

Good luck on your quest for the holy screw!

Good place to start looking if you wanna avoid all the shipping fees!

I had already thought of going down the Allparts route but would like to get the OEM bits if I can. I'm just a bit OCD about having the correct bit inb the correct place.....

Any Warwick dealer can get you these parts,or the webshop.

Warwick dealers, Allparts, Warmoth, etc. They will probably have the parts. Although, if you can figure out the exact dimensions of the screws, you can order them online from any online screw shop. When my Ibanez BtB had a missing intonation screw, I just searched for the screw dimensions on the Ibanez website, and ordered the screws from an acclaimed online nuts and bolts store.

The benefit of buying from a Warwick dealer is you get parts that will match in every way.Colour, thread, size, length etc.

Warwick web shop not at all helpful despite email and fone call...... :-(

(quote "You can find all of our available bridge screws in our web shop on the last
two pages of the bridge section.")

can anyone please tell me what thread the intonation screws and grub screws on the one piece bridge, and also the just a nut mk1 are....?

I dont have these in front of me,but if I remember correctly,
Thread intonation screws should be m3 x 30mm.
Grub screws m3 x 8mm.
I'm not sure what the JAN 1 (brass) nut thread is,so I wont guess.
If communicating with the webshop is a problem, taking the screws ya need replaced to any local hardware or screw supplier will get ya sorted.
Good luck Bob.

Ordered the neck bolts and pup screws form teh webshop. All bridge and JAN1 grubbies are indeed M3, and have been ordered from my local model fixings dealer.

Now all I need is some 20mm 3.5mm or size 6 countersunk woodscrews for the bridge and rebuild mission about to take off!
