I Got a prob I need to find a replacement back plate for my 95 Fortress One, and also I'm not getting the classic deep throaty Warwick tone out of my bass is it my battery or could it be the placement of the jazz pickups if i could get some help that would rock some ass
Thanks

about the battery cover or electronic cover check with your dealer and they will help you. About the Fortress sound I would suggest to blow some canned air into the electronics, we just had a case earlier this week of weak signal and that did the trick. otherwise try checking the battery or the pick up height. how long has it been not acting normal for?

Hey Lakwic, welcome to the forum.

You are right, the fortress has a more conventional sound due it's pickup placement. However, because of the construction, and wenge neck, it has a lot of the Warwick growl.
Trujo might be right, be sure you check the setup tutorials on "Tips and tricks" section.

Cheers, Flo

My Fortress is the most conventional sounding of my Wicks, I'm guessing you have a 5 string due to the 2 J pups. I have the 4 banger with the P-J combo, sounds like a lot of P-J basses with maple bodkins, but with a little more. And the way that wenge neck plays, like no other out there. I'd like a second Dolphin, 4, 5, I don't care, but only want the older model with the all wenge neck. I had a chance at one, but was saving for a house down payment, got the house, not the bass this time. I didn't need another bass, I kinda needed some place to live.
