need opinions on a do it yourself job

I just recieved my new JANIII and it came with directions for installation. But, I have absolutely zero experience repairing instruments or working with wood or anything like that. I was thinking of taking it elsewhere to have it installed for fear that I will screw up my only fretted bass. Is installing it too hard for a repair newbie like me? Is it risky :?:


P.S. I don't really know any good luthiers in my area :?

Ya dont need a luthier mate,it's very easy to change.Just follow the instructions & you'll be fine.

I changed mine on my fretless Vette and had no problems at all. The whole process took about 15 min.
